Whatever happened to the red-haired boy Not sure I’d like to know Never played a lick of Soldier’s Joy On his fateful fiddle and bow Nobody seen him since the moon has waned Nobody heard his tune Enough to make a grown man go insane One note could mean your doom And the fate that came Just to hear his name Just to hear him cross his bow Nobody mess with the red-haired boy And his fateful fiddle in tow Nobody writes about the red-haired boy Tell you what I read when his fatal fiddle is deployed somebody's gonna wind up dead Cause the song he played And to rest you’d lay Was the fate that you would know Never want to cross that red-haired boy And his deadly fiddle and bow now you know the story of the red haired boy now that you've been warned better look out for the real McCoy you'd wished you'd never been borned And the song he played for the widow it made Was the one that took her life Oh to never hear the red-haired boy And the song that took his wife

Cuttin the rug She’s always cutting the rug She can do it alone She can shake it till the cows come home She’s feeling alright Cause it’s Saturday night Shes raring to go To the dance floor Its her favorite drug She’s cuttin the rug Cuttin the rug Loves to be cuttin the rug Any time of day Its embedded in her DNA Out on the town she’s throwing it down Could be anywhere She really don’t care See her jitterbug She’s cuttin the rug Cuttin the rug Look who’s cutting the rug If she had her way It would be most every day Party of one She’s having her fun here shes goes again she's cuttin the rug Doin what she love She’s cuttin the rug Even in her Uggs She’s cuttin the rug

I, I don’t know you anymore Once we were lovers Now we’re strangers at the door What happened to you Will the truth ever be revealed Don’t ask the judge or jury Cause the documents are sealed I, I don’t know what became of you Once you were golden Now you’re the darkest shade of blue You, left me standing in the rain I’ve grown so numb I can’t feel any more pain I, I don’t know what got in to you Once you were golden Now you’re the darkest shade of blue

Tulsa Bound 03:18
Now I lost my money in a poker game Called California real estate So I’m packing it in and loading up the truck Moving to another state Now I’m Tulsa bound Tulsa bound I had up to here with the promised land Oklahoma here I come So I shaved my face, took out the nose ring Cut off these nasty dreads Donated my favorite tie dye shirt That I picked up when I saw the Dead Now I got big house just waiting for me More space than I can fill Gonna buy a bunch of things that I don’t need like bric a brac from Goodwill Now I’m kicking ass in nowheresville Sure beats the good life But I’d rather be the hammer than the nail Not the butter for the knife

I got a good thing going on Don't want to mess with that One day it could be gone Never let, me forget what is right and wrong I got a good thing going on I better stay away from you All those little lovely things you make me want to do make me laugh, make me dance a bit of the old soft shoe Remind me to stay away from you I’ve got to get you off my mind What coulda been in another place and time, oh my Maybe we should spend some time alone Then maybe I will see something that is wrong Do you howl at the moon, or do you just moan How else am I ever to know I’ve got to get you off my mind What coulda been in another place and time, oh my There’s a lot that a woman like you can do Make a man do tons of things he otherwise wouldn’t want to test me fidelity am i weak or strong I best be moving right along cause I got a good thing going on and on yeah I got a good thing going on

My Dream 04:48
I used to dream, I used to dream of you And then it seemed that my dream came true You came to me you took me by the hand And showed me thing Now I understand It seemed to unbelievable It seemed so hard to find This love was so invincible This love was deep inside At night we dream, at night we shared a dream When we awoke, we held each other warm We could not wait wait for the night to come When we could be, be as close as one My breakfast was your dulce lips your eyes the light of day But now its dark when I arise Your voice is nowhere near You’ve gone and left me here So now I dream, now I dream alone Your picture’s seen, your voice is on the phone The day will come, when we can hug and kiss Your special love, your precious love I miss I know the day is round the bend I know the time is near I’ll share my dream with you again I’ll share my everything With you I’ll share my dream

Have you seen Momo the Monster Have you heard of his tale Some believe that he’s still living Somewhere in the Ozarks hills Six foot nine tall dark and hairy Left no trace but footprints in the snow So if you see Momo the Monster Won’t you tell him I said hello Did you know Momo had parents By the name of McCoy Mama told him not marry Not to have no baby boy Kin folk blood a shame to his family He just a freak no monster at all So if you see Momo the Monster Won’t you tell him I said hello So if you see Momo the Monster Call him over for a beer He might not know what your saying But you need not have no fear Never actually hurt anybody Spooked my dog I heard a miller say So if you see Momo the Monster Take my word he’s OK Oh no here comes Momo ...

Every Night 03:55
Every night and every other night The cat creeps in With a wink Orders up a drink This time it’s gin Every time that the sun goes down And his wife's alone He's face down on the street below him kiss the cobblestone Every night and every other night The same old song Betty lou What you gonna do While he’s away Will you whine Will you drink your wine Time for the mouse to play Every night when he leaves the house And heads downtown Just to hear his rhythm and blues no sweeter sound Betty Lou What you gonna do I think I know What if his boss Tired of the sauce Lets him go And his wife Tired of her life suburban home living life hanging by a thread That’s his MO On the edge of losing it all somehow he don’t So every night night And every night And on it goes
